Why were these two facts not seen as just screaming out that they were of utmost importance to share?
Is it actually important that they be on the same circuit, which means the same breaker, or do you really mean the same phase? Every house I've ever seen has lighting and wall outlets on different breakers, but not necessarily on different phases.
Again, here, circuit or just phase?
Again, lighting systems do not all behave identically, so this is something to be named from the start. Ernie, because I don't process info the way you do, your comments are difficult to understand. Are you saying that I should not ask anything unless I can describe everything? If not, please explain.

A pair of Just Add Power entry level 3G TX/RX (707POE/508POE) with some power supplies would do this simple 4K extension with no problem. Phase and all that other stuff just being tossed about in this thread won't matter. We'll gladly send you a pair to test to prove it. Send me a PM or an email (ed @ justaddpower dot com) when you are ready to solve the problem.

Except this is on a nice projection system, they may not want the extra compression & degradation to the signal.
Then again, if all they are going to use is that crappy cable box for a signal - then no harm, no foul.

The system will include a Sony UHP-H11 Then it would depend on how picky your customer is about the quality of video. 90% of people are blind as a bat when it comes to this type of thing, so the odds are in your favor the customer will be perfectly happy with the setup. And as mentioned, the JAP should have no trouble working in this situation.

Only thing I can add is I have had nothing but trouble with Key Digital HDMI products (extenders and HDMI Matrices).

Is the problem persist across all sources?
Are you having more issues with 4k than standard def from cable ?

Ed sent JAP extenders to me lightning fast (thanks Ed). I'm changing out Denon AVR to Yamaha. I will keep you posted as the extenders will be the only way I won't have to open up the walls and start over with cat6 or fiber. Customers want Green Bay / Vikings game by the weekend.

Update. I'm gonna make this real simple. Just Add Power 3G extender worked immediately. It passed Denon Avr, Sony 4K blu Ray and Comcast Xfinity box. The problem? Key Digital KD-X200ProK falsely advertises UHD over cat5e.
Do not waste your time or money trying to prove me wrong. Buy the products that succeed at what they advertise. Just Add Power, thanks for the rescue. We will do business together.
