The BBC is reporting that Russia has attacked a us navy base in California and other military installations on the west coast with nuclear weapons.

Yeah, your reaction just now was probably similar to mine when the idiot from next door stuck his head in our office and asked if we were watching the news because Russia was attacking. He pulled out his phone and even had a "live" "BBC" feed reporting on the events.

It should be legal to shoot people like this on the spot.

We moved a couple months ago. Next to a carpet store now. It was one of the installers. You know how those carpet guys are.

My first thought was:

No way in hell. The Russians wouldn't want that place.

My reaction was more like "oh, dear, not again."

The only difference with todays fake news and yesterdays fake news is that now anyone can spread nonsense. Before you had to be a billionaire to convince people to shoot themselves in the foot.

Two nukes striking the San Andreas at the proper places could speed that up. Maybe someone should check and see if Russians are buying up desert land east of the fault line, waiting for it to be ocean front. It's the perfect real estate scam as long as no one can turn back time.
