whats the deal here? I copy the 600 character long link from LUA and log in clients info and the navigator just spins and spins. It links fine, just can't access it since it just seems to load and hang up. Multiple jobs now have this happen in it.

running 8.1.3 driver (I know a new one is out but it sucks)

help?

Long time issue. Don't think they are going to fix it. Same goes for Spotify.

Yeah I don't have any issues with Spotify either, but amazon has been an issue :/ everyone is now asking for it because of course it's free with amazon prime.

On a side note, it does seem like amazon is better. I've grown partial to it. I have Spotify and Tidal too! Amazon has everything these two guys have so at this point why am I spending 30 bucks a month between the two lol!

Have this same issue, so frustrating! Constantly have to re-authenticate Spotify, Amazon and Google. I don't get what I am doing wrong.

As posted above referencing KB1808, the Sonos 7.0 update will permanently break the existing Control4 UPnP driver for Spotify and Amazon Music. Only way forward is to use Sonos Favorites, either with the existing driver or with the newer Sonos API-based driver. I'd expect more services to fall off the old driver over time as development on the UPnP driver suite has halted for compliance reasons.

so customers who have C4 / Sonos and update to new Sonos software will lose connection capability with Spotify and Amazon through C4 app?

Sort of. The new endorsed driver only supports favorites saved from the services not direct access to them.

Everyone got so excited when SONOS announced that it would endorse and support 3rd party integration. Their endorsed driver stinks compared to what we have now with the C4 driver.

I realize that this news is not SONOS' doing, but rather inflicted by Spotify and Amazon. It will be fun trying to explain this to a few clients.

No biggie. It will supply us with some service call revenue.... And possibly some sales opportunities.

Just another reason why I always spec C4 jobs so that the customer can use the Sonos app for 90% of music navigation.

Using two apps that actually work reliably vs. one app that's subject to random break downs is just better for the customer IMO.

I agree....the SONOS app is much better than the C4 UI. Especially with the recent change that allows single touch playback. In C4, you still have to drill through about a billion submenus to get something to play. And with the auto room on/off feature still in the endorsed driver, it makes it easy to track zone status, etc.

Problem comes when a few connects are going into a matrix, then it gets confusing for a client
