Has anyone tried to use this remote in RF mode? I loaded a remote program into one with all settings for IR transmission only. Everything worked perfectly. When I switched to RF mode, only 2 of my 4 components responded at all, and then only to a few of the commands. Regardless of which RF channel or offset I used. When I switched back to IR mode, the functionality did not improve without redownloading the software from my PC.
I called Marantz tech support & they told me that RF would not work on the remote's home page. So I copied the home page to a generic system page that the home page leads directly into. Didn't notice any improvement.
On the second call, Marantz said they had never heard of the corruption problem and to go to Remote Central to see if anyone else had experienced it. (One of our installers experienced this with another RC9200.)

Any similar experiences? Suggestions or Solutions?

Thanks.

the best thing is to try posting in the Pronto forum. There is more traffic, and not all people familiar with these remotes hang around the Installers forum.

Sure we do
first off in the home portion go to system properties and make sure it is ir enabled.
then for each device go to its properties and make sure its set to rf.
You are using their rf base station correct ?

some times the rf won't stay for devices you may have to tell each device they are rf on the remote .

I had some similar problems. Unplug the RF receiver for 15 seconds and repower it up. should take care of your problem.
