Yep. I was skeptical because I have found that on some AVRs, you can choose whether to send audio to the TV or to the AMP, and you get one or the other, but not both. So a quick test concluded that it indeed would do both, so it worked out great.

Yamaha receivers can output Bluetooth, so if using Yamaha, just add a pair of bluetooth headphones.

I need a solution but tv is mounted above fireplace. So headphone base would have to be at yamaha avr location. Would marios idea work? Using audio extractor between avr and tv?
