Looking for a supplier of higher end step lighting. The floor will be sloped and want to keep the rows symmetric. Would prefer in-floor for this vs in-riser. The first row of seats will not be on a riser so this is why I'm thinking in-floor to keep each row consistent with the others. Budget is open for this project.

I wouldn't go the LED tape light approach IMO. You won't be able to dim it enough and it will throw off too much light and affect your pic quality.

Maybe something more like this??? [Link: tempollc.com]

If there's anything that hugely upgrades the look of LED strips, it's a construction that keeps you from seeing the individual LEDs. A solid bar of light is the way to go, though it's hard to do without either more LEDs close together, or more space between the LEDs and whatever surface they light up or lens they penetrate. These don't do that.

lippavisual, what particular product did you intend to link to. That's a link to outdoor lighting.

drewski's find is HOT!
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

drewski's find is HOT!

The circular drop in led's. Can be mounted in floor or side wall to light up the stairs and can also be controlled/dimmed easily.

A single spot easily lights up stairs and are less obtrusive, imho.
