I'm getting a new suv soon that is my personal car that i want to put my company logos on since. I take it on allot of sales calls to look more professional.

But here is the problem I'm a Giants season ticket holder and would want to to take it on the hutch parkway to the games. Will I get pulled over for having the logos on my car. I'm nervous because I heard it a $400 ticket.

Chicago has some dumb crap like that too
Such as you weren't supposed to drive a van or a pickup down lake shore drive
And various other types of roads that unless you lived there you would have no idea the best part is it's not posted anywhere on the roads

You could use a vinyl overlay for the logo and attach it as needed. Or, you could use an overly to cover the logo on the parkway.

I'd be tempted to cover it with blue painters tape just to prove how stupid that "rule" is!

I have a customer that has 2 logo's that are magnetic for one of his cars. If he's taking it on the job he slaps the logos on.

Had the joy of commuting from LI to Westchester for a project this week. Had my commercial van. What a PITA to get around.

This is the one of the reasons my van is blank and my plates are NOT commercial. I am pretty sure it goes by the plates your vehicle has but who know what changed. I have seen many vehicles with regular plates and adverts all over them in NYC.

Way to gaslight the thread. Educate yourself instead.

It has to do with curves, weight and some very very low clearances in and around the city. Trust me I have been stuck under some.

At my old job the vans had no logos or lettering because of this. As a general rule we stayed off LSD but we occasionally took it with the preplanned cover story that it was a personal vehicle and we were just transporting some tools and boxes. It probably wouldn't have worked. These days i just drive my own car when im using the drive.

Have seen cops pull over vans that have no lettering or ladder rack, standard plates and write a ticket for "being in commerce" because the interior of the van has a cage. Like I said, F NY.

A couple of years ago was talking to a few guys that only work in westchester and they told me that. There company registered personal vehicles like mini vans and the cops looked in the back and didn't see back seats and gave them a ticket.

He's touchy because it's true. Democrats are likely to get upset when the truth is told.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
