It's been historically easy to snub repeaters based on 'halved throughput' even with Eero. A Google branded solution is going to be way more difficult IMO. Anybody get some hands on with this stuff yet? A potential Pakedge client sent me a link from B&H, looks like it was only available for preorder there.

In their defense, eero claims 80% at 4-5 hops, properly placed. That's what I was told at CEDIA anyway.

I've been living with it for a few months. It's pretty nice for the 3000 sq ft suburban sprawl two-story. But, bigger homes = bigger systems, for sure.
