I've been a Captain and coke guy forever. Moved onto Captain Black and coke (mostly cherry pepsi) a couple years ago. I've since moved to Jack and cola. I highly recommend using that Pepsi 1893 for the cola. It makes a huge difference. I haven't done Jack "neat" or on ice yet (baby steps), but I got a bottle of Jack "Sinatra" for my birthday when I'm ready...... Cheers guys! JT

Ketchup on steak is awesome. Even better if you mix Texas Pete or Tabasco with it. Chef/cook is not paying for my steak. They put butter on steak before serving and I recall butter as a spread for plain old white bread. I did forget to mention I can not stand the taste of rum. This is just sad.

Ruining a good piece of beef with ketchup. I hope you only visit establishments with pictures on the menu. Anything more would be a waste.

No I do not visit restaurants with picture menus. Well sometimes I do. Wife likes Chinese takeout. They all have the same pictures on the wall above the order counter. Seriously, I am a tremendous cook. I just like a tomato vinegrette on my steak.

As they say, there's only two reasons for food: Sustenance and pleasure. If it makes you feel good, then do it. I imagine a good number of Asian folks wince at white people putting butter on white rice, but I like it. My sister used to put A1 on pretty much everything, the steak, the potato, the salad, the bread, and anything else that came with the meal.
I will say that my family members tend to make fun of me because I always put very minimal anything on my food. I put a tiny bit of syrup and butter on pancakes, a tiny bit of Worcestershire sauce on a steak, a tiny bit of ketchup on fries. I do like to taste the actual food (else why even pay for it.) But, if drenching it makes you happy, then it's all good.

Did dig deep into some Buffalo Trace tonight Fins. Nice finish. I'm jealous. I've not been able to find Trace in a few months. Although, when I was in SC last week, I did find Buffalo Trace Bourbon Cream. It's great for using in place of Irish Cream.

I've taken to drinking wine since I heard that a glass of wine is equal to an hour of exercise.
I exercises a lot now.... :-)
You would be surprised how well a good Cabernet goes with Cheerios.....
