Looking for a good drink. Just tried Jim Beam apple and club soda. Taste like crap. Like salad without dressing, steak without ketchup, canned tuna without mayo/relish. You get the idea. Not a big drinker, but looking for a good 3 ingredient max drink that taste pretty good. Not too sugary or extremely strong. Does it exist? LI tea is great but too many ingredients. Recall drinking my grandmothers drink when I was a kid. Maybe it was gin&tonic or some type of martini. Need expert opinions.

I'm a total light weight but I do like Honey Jack and Ginger. Regular Jack will do too.

How about 2 ingredients. Woodford and one piece of ice. One can happily replace the Woodford with any respectable single malt Scotch.

Not a big fan of "gold" colored booze... I like the clear stuff so my go to is usually a good Vodka and Soda
BUT
Jack and Ginger is pretty damn good!

I'm Not an engineer, but I play one on TV. My handle is Tweety but I have nothing to do with the organization of similar name. I just had a really big head as a child so folks called me tweety bird. |

I was going to suggest the Moscow Mule as well. I recently discovered it as well. My go to is simply Vodka / Tonic / lime wedge, but the Mule is a nice change of pace. I pre mix the pineapple juice, lime juice and vodka and keep it in the fridge... add the Ginger beer and ice; good to go.
I also like the Dark and Stormy, but can boo sweet! Discovered the Q brand of Ginger beer and I like that better in the Stormy, but not in the Mule! Go figure

I don't see how you guys do it. I must have lost something along the way. If I drank any one of these things I'd probably end up projectile vomiting. Two and I'd probably wake up a couple days later under a bridge wearing a dress.
About once every six months I think, man, I'd like to have some wine. So I buy a bottle of Sauvignon blanc of Fume blanc or some such. I have a glass and think, man, I'm getting old, why did I do that? The taste is pretty enjoyable, but I feel horrible afterwards.

Take a glass add quality bourbon (I suggest something from Buffalo Trace). If you insist on 3 ingredients, add more bourbon.
