We just got the Horizion Software package today and we are trying to import our customer database from Quickbooks that appear to be .dll files. We are having no luck. Anybody out there have any advice?

HI Greg,

I know you are looking for advice on the use of the Horizion software, but the only advice I can give is to get rid of Horizion and suck it up and get D-Tools. We used Horizion for a while and it just did not do for us what a A/V integration business needs it to do, and now that we have D-Tools up and running I will say that without a doubt it is the right software for just about any A/V integration company. I know it is painfully expensive and a pain in the a** to set up, but once you are set up it makes everything much easier.

good luck

Great "advice".

We did not use QuickBooks, so I cannot help you there. But I will say that Horizon has given us top notch support for 7 years and we have had great success with the Horizon software. I am sure Jim at Horizon could walk you through your problem.

Apparently not EVERY integration company does thing the same way. Go figure...
