Decided to visit after getting a remote and base to bench test and start programming them, had no idea about the backlighting:(. Odd thing is that the 2 sonos pages I programmed for 2 play 1's give you the name/zone of them after hitting the button, it just says "Sonos" on the main page? Plus the play button works once then doesn't work ever again. A beta release maybe, I'll keep an eye on this thread with the great insight.

Too bad they never fixed the fact said base station (mrf250) would pick up interference like Casey picking up ladies of the night in N'Orleans French Quarter

Big time! Throw a ferrite core on that antenna for vastly improved reception.

I agree with goldenz. I look at it this way: if an RF product, which should depend on the antenna to work AT ALL, only seems to work properly when you kill its antenna, you cannot predict that it will EVER work properly. It is therefore to be shunned.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I tried to program one today.

Its kinda a cool product. since any phone in the house can control it

Tech Support was no help.

The programing looks straight forward but there is some features i dont understand at all

1.New entertainment page
2. Simple activities
3. Edit your automated activities

My plan for this was maybe to feed this in to the ir in of a mrf 350 for the clients that wanted to add iphone control. Tech support told me they dont support that .

the programming guide does not use terms like macro either

Watch the YouTube videos.

They're moving toward IP control, which is their way of telling us "You need to make sure the network is absolutely bulletproof", I guess.

What number did you call, for tech support? It's not the 901-xxxx number. If they can't help or if they're rude, get the name and let URC know.
