Have a Sonos system connected to Control4. Sonos app works great with all services.

But in C4 every Sonos service requires Authentication within the C4 app. Ex: I select Spotify from the Sonos list inside the Control4 app and get an "Authentication Required" pop-up. Problem is that you can't press on the link, you have to manually enter the long URL into a browser and then add a link code.

Worked fine before, if you don't mind the tedious experience (especially with Amazon which is impossible with their crazy URL), but now the customer has a new iphone7 and I am having issues getting Spotify to connect. In the browser on the Sonos page it keeps saying the code is not valid although I have tried it no less than a dozen times.

Anyone have a simpler way? Am I missing something?

I find it simpler to delete the driver and start over in these cases

If C4 just had Apple and Amazon... What is everyone else using for streaming products both with an automation system and audio only systems?

Have you tried using the mini drivers for sonos?

You authenticate in composer and that's it

Yeah, use the LUA in composer after you click on spotify to get the URL. Copy and paste it in your browser. That makes it a little easier to do it.

I would also make sure the controller and PC that you're authenticating with is set to the same DNS.

I was just talking to my C4 rep and coincidentally he brought up this exact glitch as an example of a bug that has come up recently that they are working on a fix for.

Check with tech support but I'm pretty sure it's a known issue that they are working on.
