Thanks; that's it. I've got a client's Dish Network DVR working, but the URC commands don't include fast forward, skip, or the same in reverse. I'm sure something else is missing, too.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Thanks! But oddly, they haven't arrived yet.

If that is really a hack to make his remote blow up in his hands, no one would prosecute you

Don't be idiots, guys. He said he emailed them. Three hours later, no email had arrived.

Haven't you ever heard of people having problems with email? Don't you think if someone sends you something and it never arrives you should tell them so they can look into a problem with their email? No, not mail, email.

It's the USPS hackers. They were hired to interrupt emails because they are losing money with people using email.

Indeed there was a problem with my email (again). Which prompted me to switch my ISP which I am in the process of doing. Hopefully those codes came across but I included them in a post.

They've arrived. In my in box this morning are:

*an email dated last night at 7:45 from the Total Control email address
*another from 7:45 PM from the Comcast email address
*a third one from 7:45 PM from the Total Control address

*another one from 4:54 PM from the Total Control address, with the text being the commands in Pronto Hex
*looks like the same text, from 4:56 PM, from the Comcast address
*from 4:57, an email on his personal account stating that he had sent the last two emails.

I last checked emails some time last night, hours after all those were sent.

Guys, despite your wanting to think I'm doing something very wrong, I don't think I was.

Better late than never - except for email. That is a strange thing. Was very consistent with the types of problems I started experiencing a couple of weeks ago. I am in the process of ISP transfer now, but am glad you got the codes.

Any chance you have the HOME command? It's not in the file you sent and I only have an RF remote here. I may be able to build a Netflix macro but HOME is the first step.

Or do you have a Netflix button? I'd still want HOME, though.

edit: I was thinking in too limited a manner. You can make a HOME macro using MENU as the first step. See Post 17.

I don't think those exist. I think they were commands added on the RF remotes. At least I never found them when I set my hopper up.
