I have a 300 series router that will not upgrade its firmware via OVRC or by downloading the firmware from the website and uploading it. When I use the web interface and i try to upload it,it just says "disconnected" with a frownie face (think that is due to chrome)

Tried I.E. too, no bueno.....multiple resets don't fix it either. Any ideas?

No idea why it didn't work. I haven't had any problem installing firmware through OVRC. The problem probably has to do with your computers. I told you to stop going to those sites. I don't care if those poor dogs do look like they enjoy it.

The first one I setup had the same problem. I rebooted it or maybe factory defaulted it....maybe several times. Eventually it updated. The next half dozen or so since then have all shipped with the current f/w so I will not know until they release the next version if I have a problem or not with Windows 10.

Hi Brendon,

All our firmware updates don't get released before being tested with all 5 browsers: IE, Edge, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. OvrC update is a critical test as well.

We're not aware of any issues but sometimes browser issues can be resolved by clearing cache. Anyways, please shoot me a note and we will check with OvrC team why your unit didn't update via OvrC.

Thanks
