It's been up an running for almost five years on my back bar wall. The iPad is starting to exhibit serious graphic problems. Always had a problem with the damn thing jumping off the secure wifi to the guest network anyway

I've got an iPad 4 at home I would like to put in. Started looking at wall mounts and all I can find are for newer iPad models.

I'd like to use the iPad 4 with an Ethernet adapter. Any suggestions?

Until you get your new iPad/wall mount situated, forget all other WiFi networks on the iPad except the secure one you want it to connect to. It won't be able to connect to the guest network.

That does not work. I can forget the guest network a million times and it will still connect to it

Do you have any other Apple device using Key Chain? Because if you Forget the guest network on one device, it'll forget it on all. Then once you see another device not connecting to the guest, you'll mistakenly add it and it'll add the guest network for all other devices.

Aren't there routers out there that will allow you to program it to allow certain devices that is attached to the guest network, full access? As if it's connected to the normal network. Just a simple programming of the MAC addresss to allow full access.

could just select that guest network when its on it and hit forget? then it shouldn't ever auto connect to it

A doorbird installer brought a Channel Vision mount out to the job and it turned out to be the wrong size, just a bit too wide (in portrait orientation) for the present iPads. Sorry, I don't have the model number, but they might be able to help you find something that will fit.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I highly recommend Tru Audio Padimount :

We use them in installations. They look great and work well.
