If you are going to pray why not pray for the storm not to happen? That has to be easier than praying for millions of different people to survive. Lack of prayer efficiency might be why so many go unanswered.

We were not brave enough to head home in from Disney World while storm were heading to Louisiana a couple weeks ago. Where the in-laws live (Central of Baton Rouge). Their entire neighborhood were submerged with over two feet of water.
I'm relieved that they decided to run for safety before the storm landed. Even though knowingly property damages will be substantial.
*** In order to get home in time for the kids able not to miss their first day of school. We booked the flight for 5 and arrange my wife's SUV to be transported home.
