Two projectors that will be displaying the same image at all times.

Inputs -
PC via HDMI
PC via display port
Blu-ray via HDMI
Mac Mini via HDMI?
Possible guest laptop via VGA

Output likely through HDMI to a HDMI splitter to 2) Zektor HDBaseT extenders

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Thought about using JAP, but then have looked at a Kramer VP-732. The Kramer seems to shine with all the inputs (no VGA-HDMI adapters needed for instance), a preview function, and a freeze frame of the last displayed image while looking for the next thing to display.

Has anyone used the Kramer, with success? Are there other options you prefer??

Thanks in advance for your advice!

There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

FYI, we launched a Just Add Power VGA Transmitter at InfoComm. The 2GΩ/3G VGA Transmitter is compatible with both 2G and 3G systems. No VGA to HDMI adapter needed.

Depending on the budget, they might find one of the new wall plate Transmitters with both VGA and HDMI inputs to be desirable for installation on the stage or in a pulpit.

2GΩ

Isn't that about as close to an open circuit as you can get?

Whatever the switcher is, for church use it needs to be as dead simple as possible. Either big knobs where you add labels naming exactly what you have there (that is, "AUX 1" won't do, but "LEFT COMPUTER" will), or completely bulletproof and always correct autoswitching.

This brings up the question -- will you need to cue or edit? Now a whole different range of products are needed.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Kramer vp switchers are the way to go for your particular project based on your description.

I've used a lot of them for similar applications and they work flawlessly.

Extron has some great presentation switchers along with capabilities for twisted pair transmission of HDMI and VGA. Simple control commands as well. That is where I find Kramer falls short.
