The MA ones aren't just "power cords", they are shielded and the conductors are twisted and throw off much less RF than normal power cords. I saw a test with an RF meter and romex, standard IEC power cord, bare 14/2 conductors, bare 14/2 inside metal conduit, and Middle Atlantic's "signal safe" power cords. Big difference. Price to match, but hey...you know.

When was the last time you encountered a problem in your system, with interference coming off a power cable? Don't get me wrong, I 'think' I have seen it before. But in 25+ years I have only thought I have seen it a few times (pretty sure it was defective equipment causing it anyway). It is so rare that I would never bother getting anything beyond standard power cables (at the correct gauge for the application).

Well, someone has to suggest it: [Link: amazon.com]
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I do like the red power cords.
I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.

The reviews on this land cruiser are what put me over the edge and made me order it. The 400 W sound system created the tipping point as well.

There are 12 IEC connectors by shape; each has a different name for the Male or Female side. For example, C7 is male and C8 is female, but both have the same shape connector. I use IEC60320 C13 AC Power Cord Short Portable Cable 20cm For Computers LED display Printer Rice cooker Electrical appliances. I always prefer to have from any of the online stores i.e; amazon.com.
