I'm looking for shorter IEC power cords for easier management.
Specifically for 4ft and 5ft lengths.

I'm not looking to spend $10 or $20 per cable.
What I found so far is ~$8 from cables to go (do they have a business accounts that offers better pricing?), and MA for about $20 (IEC-48X20)

My shorter, 1ft, 2ft and 3ft can be easily sourced, but not the 4ft and 5ft.

I want to get a 10 pack, throw it in the van and have them available in tight cabinets when OEM 6ft cables are way too long.

For those nicer jobs where racks are deployed, I can justify $20 cables, but not in the simple hang and bangs.

BTW, I did find this thread from 8 years ago, but didn't want to dig it up: [Link: remotecentral.com]

And this place has IEC cables in many lengths, in white.

http://www.infinitecables.com/

I bought three white 2' cords and it was less than $15, shipped from Canada.

I don't see anything other than 3', 6' and longer IEC cables.
Am I searching for it wrong?

I do see that they do have 1.5' cables, so that's a nice score.

Available in 6 inch increments up to 4 feet, 4 and 5 foot 10 amp cords are $5 each.

They sell or can make pretty much any power cord you could need.

Doesn't MA have some. I would assume pricey though.

20 pack of 4' ends up being over $400, or $20 per unit.

Nice find!

Looking at [Link: stayonline.com] , they make cords in .25" increments.
Now I can have 1, 1.25, 1.5, 1.75, 2, 2.25, 2.5, 2.75 foot cords for those short 'direct path' tight spaces.

And like you said, they can even make them in custom size length.

The MA ones aren't just "power cords", they are shielded and the conductors are twisted and throw off much less RF than normal power cords. I saw a test with an RF meter and romex, standard IEC power cord, bare 14/2 conductors, bare 14/2 inside metal conduit, and Middle Atlantic's "signal safe" power cords. Big difference. Price to match, but hey...you know.

I buy mine from Amazon. Just search for C7, C5 or C13. I usually get them for aroun $4-6 each.

A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
