I mounted a 32" TV in a bathroom using a TS218U.
The mount squeaked when the front joint rotated. Two of the wire covers were broken when we opened the box, so we traded it for a new one.
That squeaked, too. We exchanged that at another location of the same vendor. That squeaked, too.
Once I had three squeakers, I called Chief. Gary at Chief was very concerned, since it sounded like a batch problem. He sent me a replacement at no charge.
Fast forward ten days, I haven't gotten to replacing it, and now that third one doesn't squeak. It seems there's a lubricant that somehow doesn't lubricate at first, or something... so the free replacement goes back.
Anyway, if you have this problem, give it a few days to resolve itself.
Do you charge the client when you have to return after not bothering to oil something that squeaks? I realize they shouldn't make noises, but.....
