Have a job with a Blu-Ray player that is local to the video source. Clients wanted to use it for the rare times they play a CD so I used the audio breakout on the 2G+ ...the breakout is out in the rack going into the C4 matrix. All audio sounds fine on every source and also when they play a movie but when they play a CD they get a really bad screeching through the system....

Any thoughts or setup changes? The whole system is a 2G+ witch Cisco Switch!

Log into the Transmitter IP (Telnet or HTTP Interface) and issue the following command:

astparam s v_rx_drv_option 0;astparam save;reboot;

The problem will be fixed.

Try calling 800-615-0206 Ext 2, or emailing [email protected] for a faster respoe in the future. :-)

i think I sent the same command to fix audio in a kaleidescape system where the music portion of it sounded like i had damaged speakers.

Ed,

What is the best way to find the IP of the transmitter?

A line of code looks WAY better in a rack than a ground loop isolator...

Bonjour browser can muster up the TxRx unit addresses, when it wants to.

It has to do with the audio sample rate
