I haven't tried this yet but there should be no reason it wouldn't work?

My OCD is kicking in as im redoing my house and I need things to match

The receptacles usually are recessed in further than a C4 lighting device. It does look better than a non C4 faceplate but if you want it to look perfect, you need to step out the receptacle using a spacer of some sort. Most electrical supply places will have the plastic spacers that fold up as many times as you need to create the depth you need.

Use Claro plates instead.  They look much better.

Any distributor that sells Lutron should sell the faceplates as well. Don't buy it from Home Depot. Electrical suppliers as well.

Buy them from where ever you want Hertz. I buy them online from HD because they have the colors in stock and the price is cheaper than any ripoff electrical supplier or distributor. Even Amazon has them cheaper.
