I tried researching, but couldn't find a drawing or picture of the bolt pattern. The LG site shows THEIR mount, which looks sketchy to say the least. Some of the reviews said its only 14" wide, won't even hit two studs.

I'm hoping someone has installed one of these and can advise me. Don't want to find out at the last minute that a standard mount won't work.

TIA

I have, and it stinks. Only their proprietary mount works, and I couldn't get it to reach two studs. Anyone else come up with a way to make a standard mount work?

I did one the other day. I used a Strong XL Mount, I believe I had to modify the arms and make a new hole in each one using a step-bit due to the hole pattern on the panel being too close together for the standard holes on the arms to fit. However, the arms come up away from the panel at the top because that portion of the panel is thin while the base portion that you mount to is thicker. But, it worked just fine.

Side note, I also mounted a 55" OLED with a Strong Razor Articulating mount and a Flexon Sonos Playbar mount. (this needed a few more modifications to work well)

The LG mount is OK but it is to narrow. You can probably use someone else's mount but beware that the mounting holes are right at the bottom of the TV, so if you are using another manufacturer's mount it cannot have anything below the mounting plate.

YES! Can you send me the documentation.
Does anyone else have any input on mounting the LG OLED's??? I'm getting an install prepped and need to mount 2 of the OLED55B6P's WITH a Sonos Playbar mounted under each one!!! This sounds like it's going to be fun!!!
Any input would be greatly appreciated!!
I can see that the 200 x 400 pattern is really low on the TV but can't see how this ACC-LGOLED adapter plate fits?

The outgoing 55/65EF9500's DO require LG's OTW150. The bolt holes are at approximately 200mm top and less than 200mm width bottom. A beveled plastic adapter is included for the top two mount bolts--you remove two pan-head case screws to make these holes available for the mount bolts--and flat plastic offset adapters for the bottom

The OTW150 works for 16" on-center studs (+/- .25") or block/masonry mounting. There is NO lateral shift possible when stud mounting...Where the stud bay is centered, so will your OLED be, barring modification.

As I understand it, the new OLEDs now arriving utilize standard VESA spacing (likely 200mm x 200mm). Let's hope so!

We've installed a bunch of the new sets (B, E and G series). No special mount needed.

I've installed a few. Used Audio Solutions ASFM64 for a small cantilever and peerless SF650 for flat. I modified the arms on the SF650 so they didn't stick above the bump on the back of the TV. The peerless cantilever I initially had did not work as it sat below the bottom of the TV. I wasn't aware of the adapter plate or it wasn't available when I installed.

Thanks for the input, it helped. The model was a OLED65G6P, I think. Forgot to write it down. The OTW150 I bought is just for the 9500, 9600 series I think? The ACC-LGOLED appears to be for those series as well.

The G65P has that crazy fold up stand/speaker bar on the bottom. The TV sits 4" off the wall when mounted. You can see everything behind the tv, and the back is glass, and like a mirror, so it looks like twice the cables as well. Unfortunately, the way this tv is mounted, you see it from the side as you enter the room. Not much can be done, but there was some hmmming and hawwwwing as the customer checked it out.

The mount holes are either 200x400 or 200x600. Not sure exactly. The bracket has to bottom out or it will show under the tv. Used an SM-F-L to mount it. It's heavier than I expected, but the weight is all down low in the speaker bar. When the speaker bar is folded for wall mount, the connections all face up, towards the top of the tv. Could be an issue down the road for dust and pet dander I'm thinking.

Thanks all.
