Check out tvfool.com. You mentioned Channel 2.1, instead of channel 43. See, 2.1 is what we call the channel that broadcasts on 43.

I'm beginning to think an installer might be able to help you. Well, actually, I always thought that, but maybe it's time. If you have the time to put into this, though, then go for it!
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I plugged the coax directly into the TV and used the built in tuner. All the signals come in strong with no issues and I get a total of 124 stations

So, the reason for freezing and pixels is because I had the signal going thru the HDHomeRun Connect/Network, so I am convinced its a router/network issue.

I'll have to look at that now.

Thanks for all the advice !

I have direct line of sight. I have the RG6 going straight into a HDHomeRun Connect box. All this box does is just send the signal onto the home network and it acts like two tuners. The HDHomeRun is then connected to my router so it can pass the signal to the network so my Kodi Media Player can put it up on the tv.

So no splitters or amplification.

Later today after work I am going to put the RG6 straight into the TV as it has a built in tuner and see what the reception is like.

This is a very good idea, running the antenna/coax right to your TV for a test. If it were me, I would use a good quality splitter and run a coax to the TV and one to your HDHomeRun tuner (I actually do this). It is great to have a backup to the HDHomeRun in case you have a network issue, like I did two days ago when a power blip took out the lan card in my pc. Anyway, with the direct connect to the TV you will be able to rule out the antenna/coax (or not). If the direct connect works fine you can then try to figure out if it's your network or Kodi box that is the cause of the pixel issues.

It is possible that you are overloading the HDHomeRun tuner. I would try a 6 or 10 dB antenuator before the input to the HDHomeRun tuner.
If you are going to do the job...why not do it the right way?

The attenuator is a great idea. I'll go to Frys later today.

Fry's has attenuators? Amazing.

I don't think you said if you kodi box (and HD tuner) are wired to the network or wireless, I think that HD tuner passes the full HD stream over the network, that could be trouble via wireless.

I went to Frys and they don't carry them. They had them at Torrance Electronics so I picked up a -6db, a -10db and -12db. Tried them and its not that...
Yes, the HD tuner passes the signal over to the Kodi box, but its wired.

And I get a response back from SiliconDust, the manufacturer of the HD Home Run Connect and they said that I am experiencing Packet Loss, which makes sense...
I have to look at the network later tonight...

Too bad it's not an antenna problem. Those are usually so much easier to understand, if not fix, than packet loss!
