A friend has a place at a lake and he doesn't stay through the Winter, so he would like to be able to find out if water has gotten into the basement, if the heat goes out, etc. I think 2Gig has something like this- any opinions on a decent solution without going all Crestron and $$$$? Obviously, if the internet goes out, he's SOL, but assuming it stays up all Winter....
