I am increasingly needing a solution that takes an audio input device(L+R/Digital) and putting it on the network to stream back to the rack. Wireless is not an option, I keep running into a problem where an audio balun just wont work due to the lack of catx infrastructure on sites.

Commercial very robust audio over ip solution , look for instreamer and exstreamer boxes

They should add Point to point audio feature for airport expresses. That could come in handy at least twice. :)

What are you getting your source from? If it is an HDMI source, just use the JAP AVP. If you need an analog from a music server, then use the JAP AVP Transmitter. If you are using a digital source, you will need a DAC.

Can you have multiple IP ins/outs? Do you have cost or even retail? This looks like its exactly what I need!

Mike- I cant use JAP as the infrastructure is already here. Im needing it for the solutions where JAP doesnt work or there isnt a budget for it/I cant rely on C4 to digitize the stream

Approx. $400 for instreamer, $200 for exstreamer . It's IP so you can have as many "in's" and "out's" as you want. I am not sure about drivers or how to control it, other then creating " fixed " matrix .
