I am doing a quote for one of these beasts right now and have no experience mounting them. I would love to spec a non curved but it looks like if you want "uge" and OLED you have to go curved.
Any tips/tricks things to watch out for?

Would have to go on a motion mount due to an existing niche above fireplace that is too small for it. Once set it will probably never be moved except for service.

Please. The word is "yuge" or even "yoozh."
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Beeg maybe? Ginormous even?

As an aside, I got a look at a LG OLED in Costco today.

Running some demo piece rather than DTV channel like most all of the other TV's, but regardless, it looked really really good.

The LG OLED77G6P looks pretty flat to me.

I just got in the OLED55E6P and the Philips 4K UHD player. Picture is phenomenal on all sources. Be advised that the mounting holes (mine is VESA 400 x 200) are at the bottom of the display rather than being centered due to the thinness of "picture on glass".
I haven't been this excited about a TV since plasma bit the dust. The sound from the TV speakers is pretty good too.

What is this "picture on glass" all about anyways?
