I had no problem downloading the manual for the XBR75X850D, but with the 85" there seems to be a loop that keeps dumping me back into the 55" size. Does anybody have this, or have a link to it?
To the inevitable guys who are going to criticize that I didn't include any information on how I tried to download it: I don't want to fix anything in/on my computer. I just want the file (as a pdf). Having the manual is the issue, not what went wrong.

Why do you need a manual? Seriously! Why?

Or do you not know the number and there fore didn't call because you don't know how. Or did you respond like an asshole because you didn't call or didn't know it existed? Btw, it's better to be smartass, than a dumbass.

I haven't bought any Sony products for years. I obviously have not noticed you guys discussing such things as calling their number. I needed a manual because I wanted to be ready to look things up if that's what I chose to use.
So, to answer your question, I did not call their CI support number because it's been so many years since I've bought Sony product that I wasn't aware of it. So, yes, like you say.

Sony doesn't seem to have anything specific posted for the 85" model, which is why they direct you to the 55-75" model. If you force the 85, this is what you get: [Link: esupport.sony.com]Which, besides for the spec sheet, are all generic series documents.

Thanks. That's an answer we can use.
...and the main thing I was looking for, that I finally found in the Comparison routine, was the dimensions.
Beyond that, looking for and finding the SU-WL810 wall-mount instructions but not being sure if that's the right model for the 85," there's no way I'm using any other mount.
Oh, wait, I need to have this thing hanging 20" out from the wall....

The spec sheet has dimensions & VESA mount size at least (crazy it wants only 400x300 - I have an old 42" with 400x800!)... but if you contact CI support, they should have drawings with the exact location of the VESA holes and other items. EDIT: Oh, wait. Here you go: [Link: sonypremiumhome.com]Looks like it wants the SU-WL500.
