Are you saying they have IR codes w/ discrete power commands?

Yes:

roddymcg,

Which model box?

This is for the new X1 boxes, not sure of a model number off the top of my head.

What issues are you having with Xfinity codes? Neal gave me codes a while ago that work fine with RTI, Savant, AMX, and Crestron that I have worked with over the years.

As for the 2 weeks comment, didn't RTI trade mark this?

My biggest problem is they are not consistent accross the Xfinity platform for all the X1 devices.

Some codes work well for some models and other codes don't work for other models. Just look in the Control4 driver database. They have three different x1 drivers to try to handle the different frequency variations. The control is also somewhat sluggish I have found.

I was at a job a couple days ago, trying to use the drivers I've used before on brand new boxes and they wouldn't work consistently. When I'm on a job trying to get it done, it annoys me.

Yes, all these things can be overcome and I'm being a bit of a complainer, but with the old boxes, one code set worked for every box and it was consistent.
