The "It's TCL inside and out" segment is interesting.

Big Booth at CES every year.
TCL is a major OEM provider of panels and finished displays.
Overall I have found their product to be in line with Vizio (hmmmmmmm) in picture quality.

Had a customer looking for 15 of the cheapest 32" smart tv's with good reviews, I found TCL, but was not able to find a distro in Canada, so I quoted some other low cost tv's that will probably go dark in a year but hey, the guy said it doesn't matter lol.

But ya looks like they are OEM, I assume they build tv's for brands like RCA, Philips, Curtis, Pyle and maybe the lower cost displays for the big boys.

Recent TCL are using the same old codeset as Dynex uses, which 0091 in tivos, 10463 in UEI made remotes. Previous TCL models used RCA tv codes.

For non integrated locations they are a great bang for the buck.

I believe they are the OEM for some models of LG displays. Have done a few LGs that are identical in every way to TCL (screen, bezel, remote etc).

I got a 46" TCL for free (gift), it is my office tv. Not really too much to complain about with it. That reminds me, I gotta try LG commands to see if there are discretes that will work on it.
I am a trained professional..... Do not attempt this stunt at home.
