I was sitting on my back deck a couple of years ago when a cowolf (coyote wolf hybrid) hopped my fence. My dog was laying on the deck..she hopped up and went straight for it. Coywolf hopped back over the fence and headed back across the street.

I was reading about them. The breed is supposedly very well suited for populated and non populated areas.

Was it your pitty that chased it off? That would be a fight I wouldn't want to break up?

There is a pair of wolves that live in a wooded area on the boundaries of the town (sightings confirmed by many reliable sources). They are on the land owned by the cement plant so no one can go in to hunt them. There is also at least 1 cougar living on the property also owned by the cement plant (again sightings have been confirmed by reliable sources). There have also been paw prints of both seen throughout the adjoining properties.

The cement plant owns close to 2000 acres of land with most of it being bush so the animals have many places to hide and not be detected.

I am in southern Ontario so both animals aren't common to the area. There are also many coyote packs around the perimeter of the town.

Nice one RR

They get to howling out here sometimes, there are 25-30 spread across 4 or 5 miles, they will start on one end and go all the way to the other.

MY AR-15 does the trick

Is using an AR-15 considered good sporting?

Well... if they are Trump supporters, no, I wont be there. Regarding my "big gay bike" my new passion is, electric bike technology. I love my bike, and am working with a few guys on developing a very high speed - Tesla - like bike. Pretty exciting stuff and fun. Their last shipment of bikes (electric) sold out in 2 hours . 50 bikes at $1500 each. I am discovering and lovingthe whole biking culture... and I used to f-ing hate bikers, but traffic in Seattle is so bad now, and with all of the trails and sh*t bikes are the way to go.

Is "good sporting" considered proper English?

If often take for granted my settings and forget how truly great it is as I set out on the deck. I'm reminded when I have guest, then I'm truly appreciative again of nature. I'm to the point of only turning on speakers about have the time at night. The sound of country is not just from a speakers. It really is incredible.
