I have a client building a new/add-on porch. Based on floor plans, I spec'd in-ceiling speakers for music and TV audio at seating positions. Now that it's built, there is essentially nowhere on the ceiling that's not a skylight, ceiling fan or impenetrable framing/LVL's or other obstacles, so in-ceiling's won't work.

The homeowner agreed to ceiling-mounted bracket-style speakers like other Boston Voyagers on the property, but I suspect the designer will not be thrilled with this solution.

Can anyone suggest a brand/model of bracket mounted speakers that is LOW Profile [i.e. will not hang down from the ceiling as a Boston Voyager style speaker will] that also sounds worth a dang?

TIA

If it is built that strong, I would go with the excavation method. Pull out the tools and make a space. JBL 47LPs with a Crown 4|800 or 4|1250. Get some. Nothing a few tools can't make right.
No, it doesn't come preprogrammed.

You could use custom Leon Boundary speakers and let the designer have input on the finish of the speakers.

Upside: Beautiful solution; sounds nice
Downside: Expensive; not huge sound

can you tuck any snap/james landscape speakers up in beams, coves, etc? mount a sub below the deck?
I love supporting product that supports me!
