Anyone know where I can get a small monitor around 14-15 inches? We need it for a CCTV monitor in a kitchen. It needs to be 16x9. Thanks.

Is a TV ok? Fred's favorite supplier sells some little tv's that do the job quite well, very inexpensive too. Every input format you might need.
Amazon has some 15" touchscreen monitors that are 16x9. Not sure what their input formats are.
Otherwise, take a look at headrest monitors for cars. Google search raw LCD panels too.

I'm Not an engineer, but I play one on TV. My handle is Tweety but I have nothing to do with the organization of similar name. I just had a really big head as a child so folks called me tweety bird. |

Thanks for asking this question. Looks like the smallest TVs are 19" now!
Haier used to have a 15" TV, and several companies put their names on what looked like the same TV. I don't find it now that I've looked for it anew. I carry one with me for test purposes and now I know not to loan it out!

Jensen makes a 15" LCD for the car. Very affordable. Probably your best bet. RCA still has a flip down under the counter TV that is that size.
Then there are the stupid priced industrial monitors.

If you can use a TV, there are various brands of small LED TVs available in both the 13.3" and 15.6" screen sizes (Supersonic, RCA, Proscan, GPX, Axess, Naxa, etc). Just search Google for these screen sizes and they'll pop up.
I have a couple of the Supersonic 13.3" variants that i use as monitors via HDMI, and i set up a neighbor with a 15.6" Proscan last year. They work well and actually look pretty good, but they must be viewed from pretty much straight on as the image gets dark when you move off-center. They're also glossy and reflective, and i applied a Glarestopper film to one of mine that solved that problem (looks like a legacy matte screen now).

If you want a 13.3" i have one you might be interested in. I paid $260 for it a couple of years ago. The plan was to install 1 at each exercise machine for a client so they could have access to all of their video sources. They opted for cable only into the machines. I plugged it in, tested it and let the client look at it. 5 minutes later it was back in its box. It's still in it's original box and ready to ship today for the low low price of $100 + shipping. This maybe too small but we used 2 of these for CCTV in a home. They worked out great. Just had one go bad after 4 years. They still make them and the trim rings looks better than a tv mounted on wall. edit- forgot the link [Link: jet.com]
