Why are only the on and off discretes from Sony working with the new SLVN77? All other Sony's we've dealt with in the past understood the V1, V2, V3, Tuner, etc. Is there a new list of updated discretes from Sony that is not on rc.com yet?
I am using the TSU2000.

The first Sony VCR to lose discrete inputs was last years SLVN51.
I'd assumed a new/different vender made the entry level N51 for Sony, but it sounds likes it's spreading up the line.
They also went completely ass-backwards this year as far as several of their A/V receiver discretes go.
When spec'ing any new Sony models lately, I don't assume any of the "standard" Sony discretes work on any particular model until we've bench tested it.
Don't get me started on the wisdom of this...
