I heard Control4 may allow for full customization at some point soon. I am putting together some concepts using one of my new icon libraries. What do you guys think?




I also read the channel icons should be 300 x 300, but using that size requires me to upsize them which takes away image quality. Mine are 188 x 188, and I am wondering if C4 will scale them to fit.

I received some great info from BlackWire regarding the home screen icons. Does anyone happen to know about preset channel icons (preferred pixel H/W and different sizes) that C4 requires?

I am unsure if you can use your own icons for presets, but I would love to talk to someone who knows the customization abilities of C4. It is all new to me, so I appreciate any help on this.

If anyone wants to test out the channel presets I created for Control 4, please let me know. I want to include a huge set of TV channels and SiriusXM with the icon collection.

I will make the presets a free download for the first few months, so I just need to know if they work as is or if I need to change them to a different size.

Thanks for any help on this. I am sure some of you know this software front to back and know what size works best for preset icons.

I forgot to mention, I added a slight hard drop shadow the logo portions of the icons to make them stand out against a lighter background.

I would think that would be posted on the portal somewhere, right?

Or at the very least on the C4 forum.

I wish the icons hard a squared icon instead of round. The round ones look outdated. Something from the 90's.
