Anyone know if I can use the C2N-AMP-6x100 Hardware Interface and C2N-AMP-6x100 Audio Zone modules with a C2N-AMP-4x100 amp?

I already have a program with the 6x100 amp and rather than redoing the whole program trying to save some time and reuse what is already built if possible.

Thanks

I believe it should work.

They are both the newer amps that use -12 to 12 dB for things like treb and bass, so no issue with the analogs being screwed up.

Internally the modules are just passing some data via crosspoints, as long as you tie the signals to the right places and ignore signals that don't exist you should be fine.

This is all in SIMPL, not sure how SB or Studio handles it.

Thanks,

I talked to TB and they didn't give me definite yes or no, just asked if it was working prior to me testing (Man I hate talking to that specific person at TB).

Figured I would go ahead and test it and it is in-fact working. Had to remove the logic for rooms 5 and 6 but other than that works flawlessly.

There really isn't much to those amps so their shouldn't have been a problem.

I mean, you can control about 90% of what they need to do with just 2 analogs
