set up with them and got a bunch of new equipment. I was great with Via but new to G and am headed to the next training class but that doesn't help me much in the meantime. How do you pair the HR200 to the system? i have my multi room controller set to 192.168.1.80 as a static. i guess the issue is setting up the wifi as my on screen gui is working. I set my HR200 to 192.168.1.81 ssid HR200. Since the new manuals aren't out yet and the layout from the hr2 in g is different, i am a little confused. In my wifi set up putting the ip addy of the HR200 in anywhere or just the IP addy of the multiform controller? i can't imagine the hr200 because then you would only be able to use 1 device on wifi and for the SSID am i setting using my routers name or the the controllers name? I tried a few different things but no luck so far and tech support is closed on the weekends and don't feel like bothering anyone on a sunday. I also looked around in G to see if i can add a SS1 however it doesn't look like you can. I am sure i can dump old codes and play around to do an end around to get it to work and having another IP controlled 16 IRs and multiple rs232 controls would be nice figured it was work asking before i start hacking.

thanks in advance,

Did you try following the method used for the older HR2?

JC, mind if I ask where you are from, originally?

Btw, the HR2 and HR200 are the same remote. They just changed now playing to rooms.

Go to the dealer section of the Elan home systems website and download gtools, the training manual. It has step by step instructions.

Change one button and you get to go from 2 to 200?

Wonder what the button layouts were for 3 to 199? :)

Yea but G changed up a bit. the HR shows up as HRHR so no biggie. My issue is probably setting up the wifi accurately.

Born and raised outside of NYC - lived in PA for a while during school and traveled alot playing. Used to have a different SN but forgot the password. If you read about the set up, i lot of new things have been added and built.

Im sure i have the remote set up - but I believe the wifi config is messing me up. Hit me on PM I have a few things i am working on and if you like to build custom stuff you may be interested.

Downloaded the HR one - G is pretty simple - cant imagine the differences but I will try it.
