The request was for a solution to mirror the desktop of any PC, Mac, iOS, Android device without having to have a special software or download, etc. Prijector seems to fit the bill at a much lower price than Qomo or Vivitek. Not that price is the driving factor. The Prijector also has some additional features that could be useful like available "apps" for most major VC systems, etc.
I may get our Vivitek rep to chime in on the Novopro as it looks pretty good as well. I am sure they all work similarly. It is just a question of which will be the least headache to setup and use. Remember, this is for "Dummies", not integrators to use. :)

It uses the Vivitek app from the iOS or Google Play store. It worked great for me.

You can do this with a Chromecast. All that is required is a Chrome browser and the Chromecast plug-in. Works on any pc that can run Chrome regardless of OS. [Link: howtogeek.com]Problem is, it only works for Chrome Tab. If I wanted to show you how I use URC's CCP for example, is there a way to use Chromecast?

Barco Clickshare or Crestron AirMedia. Personally I'd use Clickshare.

+1 for the Crestron Airmedia. You can load a custom background . PCs require a small executable to be run. Served from the device or get a batch installer for larger corporations.

Just about all disty's carry them. No gotchas either. Plug and play when you load the launcher. Otherwise, as soon as you plug in the usb puck, open the folder option and run the .exe, it loads then tells you it's ready to share. No more than a minute process.
