Hey guys,  I'm in the process of re-designing the new Zektor site.  I spoke with Jeff we'd like to add some reviews from existing dealers into the new site.

Here's why I want the reviews:
1. It will help prospective dealers know how solid Zektor stuff is.
2. Jeff has always been a supporter of RC and I know he's pulled a few butts out of slings in the past, I'd love to have those reviews.

3. I'll put your first name, Last initial and name of your company on the Zektor site.

Here's what I need....

1. Give me some insight as to why you're a Zektor dealer.
2. Give me an example of when Zektor worked where other products didn't.
3. Give me an example of products that you have in the field that have lasted the test of time.
4. Let's try to keep them short and sweet, a few sentences is great..  I can't place book reviews on the site.

If you want to send these PM or just post them, either way is fine...

Lastly,

Jeff wants the site to be as dealer friendly as possible.  If you're an existing Zektor dealer SEND ME A PM an let me know what things you'd like to see integrated into the Zektor site.. I can't promise anything, but I'll do what I can to make it dealer friendly.

I appreciate everyones help.   In the meantime, you can still use the existing site as you always have.

Thanks again,
Paul

You might include a link to this site's search engine, telling people to search for Jeff's posts. They, our questions and our comments are a GREAT ad for the company!

If it's possible to create a link that will automatically actually do the search, that would be even better, because you'd want that search to look for posts, not threads, and give most recent results, not most relevant results. That is, the search engine defaults don't give the best search for this purpose. I created one of those a few years ago but it only worked for a short period of time.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Something that is so simple but it is amazing how many manufactures either don't care or mess it up = make sure all the products are on the site. Not only with descriptions but with full pictures of all inputs & connections. Links to download the manuals. And detailed specs.
Seems like a no brainer but like I said....

The site is 4 years old.  Stamp built the site in 2012.  Stamp is no longer doing websites, Jeff asked me to take care of it.

4 years passed and it was time for a new site. If your site is 4 years old you should probably contact Hasbeen to discuss something current/modern :)

Zektor is one of the few companies that does everything right in the realm of audio video. They take care of their clients in terms of sales and technical support. They tend to go above and beyond in all aspects of the game. Jeff has been kind enough to hand deliver products to us when we couldn't wait for shipping. To date, they are the only company that have written custom firmware so that a client of ours can have a requested feature. We've used many of their audio video matrices over the years and all of them are still in commission. Zektor is truly one the best in the game.

Jeff sucks.
I ordered a product from another company, I forget what it was, and I got candy in the package.

Jeff should include jerky in all his shipments.

That's the only complain I can come up with.

I did write a review of a nightmare job that his product was able to overcome; I'll try to find it.

This one is one of many posts sprinkled thru the years of why Zektor is a great company:

Sadly, I can't find the post that I made of how SoloCat saved my ass on a project where I had to go thru 8 or 9 patch cables with keystones to get signal from rack to one TV in office with no other way to run new cables.

Love the jerky as does my family
They build some great stuff.

I just got a new C4 driver from Zonn on Friday for the 16x16 audio matrix.
Not too many companies that I can call on a Saturday(that was the week before) afternoon and actually get an answer, jeff and the crew go way above and beyond.
Truthfully, I have never delt with a company that is so willing to go above and beyond.

So....
Zektor promotes Tooth Decay.

Only so much (good) that I can say about a competitor, but I like these guys.

I have been a Zektor dealer 7-8 years. My first dealings with them was on a 8X8 audio switch. I called and spoke to Jeff for the very first time. I told him that I needed two 8X8s for a project and that no other manufacturer offered just a plain switch. He told me that he would get back to me. I said thanks thinking “that is the last I will hear from him”. About an hour later, Jeff called back and said that he would pull the video boards out of a component video switch, cap the holes, and ship them out as soon as I wanted them. Thus, the Clarity Audio 8X8 was born. We got in the product and from first try, this product was amazing.

Fast forward to 2011. We were working on a large project in Utah with one of the very first 8X8 HDMI switches with two 8X8 Clarity Audios. We were experiencing some weird problems, called Jeff, he overnighted a new HDMI switch. Several days pass and several phone calls later, we realized that the issue was not the switch. On our second trip to this job, Jeff called and asked if he could come up and see the install in action. I talked with the client(we were staying at the house), no problem, Jeff showed. The man cooked food for me and my crew for three days!!

Another issue popped up on a HDMI switch, called Jeff, he called Zonn, Zonn called us back, pulled his car over on the side of the freeway, made a change to the firmware on his laptop and sent us the fix. This worked out flawlessly. Here is the best part….the whole process took 45 minutes.

Time and time again, Zektor has stepped up to the plate, and knocked it out of the park. They go SO above and beyond, it has renewed my faith in mankind!

The products that they make, the service that they give, the effort that they go to, to make things right is unbelievable. They are human, just like you and I, but they have answered the phone off hours, overnighted gear when they had to run it down the street to get to the last pickup, answered questions, bent over backwards, while living their lives.

I can name NO OTHER manufacturer that has even come close. I will continue to use and support Zektor as long as I am alive and in this business. ALL others need to take note on how to properly do business in this crazy world of electronics. Zektor stands head and shoulders above the competition. They treat me and my company like I was their only customer.

I remember meeting Jeff and thinking "heres another here today gone tomorrow company."
My needs were met in all of the areas he could provide service to me. I was with the rest of the crowd dealing with the average problems and lackluster support A/V distribution had to offer.
Jeff hung in there and so many friends in the industry kept sharing great experiences.
Then came the monster of all projects and I was not at all comfortable with my current product line to do the job. In fact I was not comfortable any product would do it but I had watched a video of an install that stuck with me so I made the call. Best call I ever made. It worked, it shouldn't have but it did and still does today.
HDMI + extreme distance + multiple patched together locations is supposed to equal nightmare but has proven to be the most solid portion of the project.
Support is beyond believable and the relationship Zektor builds with their clients is like a ghost from the past. I consider Zektor to be among the top two companies I have dealt with in the past twenty years. Thank you Jeff for being you and thank you Zon for proving Einstein is alive and well.
