A client wants to add a PS4 and WiiU to an existing theater room. The equipment rack is on the backside of the theater room's front wall, which is double studded, denim insulation filled and sheathed with 3" of Quiet rock on each side [which has thin sheets of metal in it].

I suspect this wall will cause enought wireless attentuation to be problematic, since we've already experienced spotty connectivity to AppleTV w/the new bluetooth remote from any farther back in the room than row 1.

Does anyone know of a signal booster or remote signal transceiver for the PS4 and/or Wii U to reconstitute these signals inside the room?

TIA

The Wii U GamePad cannot go more than 20 feet even with line of sight. The Bluetooth (Wii U Pro Controllers) have a bit more range. The PS4 controllers have about 25 feet max, even in ideal conditions.

There is no way to increase the range of any of these that I know of. Video game systems in racks are always a bad idea, especially for systems that have wired accessories like the Wii (sensor bar), XBOX One (Kinect) and PS4 (Move camera)

its because latency and gaming do not mix.

Game consoles should always be local.
