I am now having problems after adding a Lux camera system, main genie works, none of the clients will connect. Disconnect Lux DVR, problem goes away. Network issue is what we think, but we did DHCP reservation with each unit being on the opposite end of the spectrum.

Put one or the other on a separate subnet (VLAN) if all else checks out.
That's what I had to do with Russound DMS3.1 not playing nicely with ICR's 360° cameras.
Springs may have more info on actual cause.

We might need to start a list of incompatible devices somewhere.

I ran into 2 DirecTV HDCP issues with them going through AVRs. Then my way to fix it was a separate HDMI cable to the tv. One AVR was a Yamaha and the other was a Denon AVR-X2000.

I'm waiting for the call when there is a matrix switch involved.

Not everyone has access to an off air signal.

Who has one of these DirecTV systems where they have complete access for solution testing (I have some thoughts)?

I have Vail pass and the Continental Divide in the way of access to OTA here, so we have a lot of nothing in the air.

No that should be right, it's DirecTVs new version of Siri. Just speak into the remote when that pops up for further assistance.

After spending countless hours with Genie/Genie Client issues, we make sure thru our DirecTV installer, that we do not use Genie's anywhere anymore.  The DVR's suck, the genie client's suck, and Genie pretty much sucks.  We ask for regular HD-DVR's and HD receivers, so if the Genie server goes down, it does not take the rest of the DirecTV system with it.  Until they come up with a better Genie server/client, IMHO Genie is crap.
Do or Do not, There is no Try.
