I've never seen or even heard of a wireless deadbolt like that.

All are the inset ones.

Same here, unfortunately this entry uses it because it is concrete and a metal door, so it will be hard to carve out one for inset.

If I remember correctly. Those surface mount already uses the standard deadbolt for the key part on the outdoor side. So you'll only need to carve out the area for the bolt itself if you can't find a surface mount.

Heck, even finding a "surface mount" deadbolt is hard. They must've use a different term.

Yes I would just have to go through the steel casing then through the concrete...I can see this being real messy if the concrete doesn;t cooperate. Was hoping to find something already made.
