Is this just the first of many? I guess if AMX hangs around, they can have their massive booth space.

Where did you see that they are leaving?

It's the first of many. It's not going to cost Crestron any sales and just going to save them a crapload of wasted dollars. I can see new or smaller companies getting raped by Cedia to get their products in front of dealers but anybody in this business that doesn't know Crestron, isn't their customer anyway.

Important distinction. From what I have read, Crestron has said clearly that they will not be exhibiting at CEDIA's expo in 2016.

I don't see where they are not maintaining their membership in CEDIA, the trade organization, which is one interpretation of the title of this thread....

Yeah, but I question whether they mean that they left CEDIA EXPO 2016 or the membership in the organization.
