Question
You get all of the functions for DTV except MENU. That stays Samsung to control TV. Client uses search, which is accessed thru the DTV menu.
Any work around to get him to search page?
Using RTI XP-6,iPad/iPhone for control.

Did you try all of the buttons on the Samsung remote? I could have swore it's there, just under a different button. It's been a while since I've installed one. Of these TVs though and don't remember.

Hmmm, Directv says the menu button on the Samsung remote should be the same as a DTV menu button [Link: support.directv.com]But on the solid signal forum I found where it says you need the DTV RC71 remote to get full control. Have you tried firing directv codes at the tv? [Link: forums.solidsignal.com]

Rhea, I will send you some codes. I had to learn them from the small Directv remote. The sat guy set it up to control the Samsung tv, then I learned that into RTI.
