Been a Bitwise Controls dealer for a few years now. Have not used the "Room Remote" yet. Anyone out there use it and what was their experience?
Idea - concept looks great but since its introduction, I have had some reservations about trying it in a job. Concerns are: --> Looks like only 4 activity buttons. So what do you do if system has 6 or 8 activities? --> No LCD screen to tell customer what activity or mode remote is in.
Have a customer we just upgrade living room system to now include a new flat screen & Apple TV but needs old Pronto TSU7500 replaced too. Have him interested in replacing with a Bitwise setup that will also control: 2nd TV in same room, DVD, Surround rec'r, 2 cable boxes (1 for each TV) & the DirceTV. BUT, he likes the idea of a hand held remote to work system along with Ipad.
We could do RTI, the Niles Auriel, or even a Harmony. We have been really happy with the Bitwise system ease of operation and reliability, hence the reason I ask about the Room Remote, instead of the later ones I mention

I still use Bitwise in my house and I am expanding it to more rooms very shortly. Keep in mind, the room remote is a bit hard to use because there is no touch screen and even buttons such as "list" or "DVR" are not represented.
I am adding the OnmiTouch 7 and three more rooms as soon as the gear arrives.
One more quick note - all new templates are coming for Leviton / Bitwise. I am working on them as we speak.....
