i am having such a hard time with this mitsu rptv. none of the discrete codes on here work for the DVD component input so far, the only component input on the TV. Its an older rptv with inputs 1-3, ant a, b, and a dvd component input. any help?

Procedure to program the remote for special direct functions.
•Set the layer select switch at the top to the TV position.
•Press and hold the POWER button, while holding the POWER button use the number buttons to enter the code 90.
The following buttons will change functions:

Procedure for direct input selection:
•Press INPUT.
•Within a few seconds press the number button that corresponds with the desired input number.
IMPORTANT: When using this remote as an original source remote to program a “learning” remote or Home Automation control system: the INPUT button does not send a signal, this button is used simply to prepare the remote to send the correct input signal when the following number button is pressed.

Procedure to return the remote to normal consumer functions.

•Set the layer select switch at the top to the TV position.
•Press and hold the POWER button, while holding the POWER button use the number buttons to enter the code 00.
