From the "is it too soon" department: Congress has allocated $90 million to protect the remaining Eagles. Here's the article: [Link: theonion.com]EDIT: Added "OT" to the title. Oops. Thanks, KOT.

Eagles are doing great in Texas, lots around my area. No major regulation needed.

Don Felder and Bernie Leadon are not getting any love from The Onion.

Ernie should know what the Onion is. They have been around since at least the late 80's in print form. Maybe it was just a regional thing before the internet? You could find a stack of free Onion papers in every cafe on the north shore when i was growing up.

Doesn't the "from the 'is it too soon' department" tell you it's a joke? See [Link: urbandictionary.com]. I saw the thing about the Eagles and instantly checked to see the URL... yup, it was from The Onion. What a hilarious joke! I've only known about the Onion since the Hyperbolic Chamber article in 2005, but yeah, I know what it is. You guys' problem is that you can't tell when someone is pulling your leg. Check out the Hyperbolic Chamber at [Link: theonion.com]. If the joke is not clear, look up "hyperbole," from which we get our word "hype."

How could anyone take anything printed in the onion as anything but satire? Unless you're Forest Gump.
First time i have read it, and it was pretty obvious that every article was a joke.
