Just wondering if your experience has led you to choose one brand over the other when integrating with Control4.

I have one of the Yale touch screens at my house. In general it works fine with one minor annoyance.

When walking in/out of the door, you can brush against the unit and it triggers the lock. Not sure why, as you literally have to press your palm against it to wake it up. Just touching it with a single finger doesn't do it. The problem is, you go through the door quickly, the touch screen gets activated, the deadbolt slides, but sometimes you've already swung the door closed behind you and then the deadbolt hits the frame of the door.

Also, the feedback isn't great on the Control4 app. You're supposed to be able to manage users from the C4 app, however if I punch in my master code as prompted by the app, it doesn't take the code. No feedback as whether it's wrong or anything, just sits there and does nothing. In all fairness I haven't spent much time troubleshooting it.

Tried the Yale piece a few years back and didn't care for it, or the driver. The only thing I raised a brow over was the 9volt contacts to jump start it when needed (although an actual key would work too). I like the feel and margin of Baldwin and the option to key them alike if needed. The driver is solid also. The combined buttons are the only thing I don't dig (12, 34, 56, 78, 90). It greatly increases the possibility of getting the right combo on a guess- but of course you can push notifications when anything is entered...

Unless you can change the cylinder they aren't any good. Super easy to pick.

These are the cylinders you need to replace with.
