I have a customer who bought a Sony SAT-HD200, and now has a question I couldn't answer... hopefully someone else has solved this...

Every couple of weeks, his receiver 'un-hides' all of the channels he doesn't get - forcing him to go back through the channel edit screen and re-hide each analog and digital Antenna channel... Doing an auto channel load got rid of some, but not all, and he said he's done this before, and they still 're-un-hide' themselves within a couple of weeks...

This is the only HD200 I've played with, and I didn't sell it to him, so I'm clearly off the hook, but I'd like to play the hero here, so if anyone has an idea, please let me know.

I've discouraged customers from using these custom lists on HD sat receivers, including the Sony. The ones I've used hang from time to time, and need to be rebooted, which loses all the customization.

Whenever the power goes out or the channel list is updated the custom channels will be lost on the HD200(P.O.S.).

The same goes for the LG and Zenith models. They're very similar. And both reset their custom menu's after a power outage. Discourage end users to use this feature.
